DYWIDAG Tie-Rod System
Cost-effective tie-rod solution for infrastructure and marine applications.
- Retaining Wall Tieback
- Excavation Support
Tie rods produced from DYWIDAG Threadbars are used for marine bulkheads, docking facilities, barge and ship docks as well as offshore platforms. They are a cost-effective alternative to large diameter tie rods with upset threads.
GEWl® and GEWl® Plus steel grades are highly resistant to embrittlement and stress corrosion cracking. In addition, various corrosion protection systems and pre-stressing options are available, to ensure longevity.

Comprehensive range of accessories for anchoring and coupling
The system can be easily, quickly, and safely adjusted to on-site conditions
No limitation of installation tolerances
Continuous, coarse thread allows for rough site handling and for easy on-site length adjustments since cutting or coupling of the rod is possible along its entire length.
